Pacific Northwest LNG

Project Overview: 

Pacific Northwest LNG (PNW LNG) is a proposed natural gas liquefaction and export facility located on Lelu Island in the District of Port Edward, near Prince Rupert, BC.  PETRONAS is the majority owner of PNW LNG; Sinopec, JAPEX, Indian Oil Corporation, and PetroleumBRUNEI are all minority stakeholders. 

UPDATE – On July 25, 2017, following a careful review of the Pacific Northwest LNG project, Petronas and its partners made the decision to no longer proceed with this project, citing changes in market conditions and shifts within the energy industry.
