Specialist, Reclamation and Engagement

The Specialist, Reclamation and Engagement (Specialist) provides technical and expert oversight of the planning and execution of the reclamation of orphan sites under oversight of the Orphan Site Reclamation Fund (OSRF) that serve to mitigate financial and environmental risks associated with orphaned sites in British Columbia.

Engineer, Safety Oversight

The Engineer, Safety Oversight is part of the Engineering Strategic and Technical Service Branch responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the regulatory oversight system for monitoring and mitigating regulated activity safety risks.  The Safety Regulatory Oversight System will follow a Plan, Do, Check, Act cycle and the incumbent will monitor the system for effectiveness.  The incumbent will apply process safety management principles in the development of the system and will ensure it is aligned and integrated with the Commission’s other systems.

The Communications Specialist is responsible for providing professional communications expertise and a range of communications services. The Specialist prepares a variety of communications products and services, supporting the strategic objectives of the Commission. This position will also assist with developing web content, archiving, content migration and planning a data center for the Commission’s new website.
