AMS System Guidance

The Application Management System (AMS) uses a combination of upload spatial data, technical and administrative information to allow applicants to create applications online. It transforms the old paper-based application process into a digital one, ensuring a more efficient and streamlined process.

One main feature of AMS is the Application Analysis Tool, which allows applicants the opportunity to upload spatial data and generate reports that can be used for pre-planning of an application.

Information on how to submit an oil and gas application can be found in the AMS System User Manual, Quick Reference Guides (below) and videos. Further application requirements can be found in the Oil and Gas Activity Application Manual.

Applicants may find additional detailed information in the AMS Training and Practice section.
