All Applications

  • An application that has had no activity for three (3) months will appear on the dashboard with a status of “Timed Out”; then after an additional three (3) months of “Timed Out” status, the application will be deleted. Once deleted, the application cannot be retrieved.

Administrative Tab

  • The ‘Description’ text box is no longer mandatory.

Historical Facility and Pipeline Submissions

  • Notice of construction start (NCS), notice of pressure test (NPT) and leave to open (LTO) dates are now mandatory.
  • Enhancements have been made to the pipeline installation details section to streamline workflow for over-pressure protection type and set-point.

Pipeline Applications

  • Enhancements have been made to the pipeline installation details section to streamline workflow for over-pressure protection type and set-point.

Well Applications

  • The exception code field has been relocated to display within the NTS/DLS surface hole location information. Workflow and validations have been implemented to determine when an exception code can or cannot be modified.
  • To ensure data integrity, the permitted oil and gas field name and working interest partner name(s) in a well amendment application are now read-only.
  • In addition to the permitted well name being displayed within the surface hole details section in an amendment application, the proposed well name will now also be displayed.

An AMS December 2019 Release Guide which further explains these changes, and other various wording updates, will be available Dec. 17, 2019 on the Regulator’s website. In addition, the January 2020 monthly updates to the Oil and Gas Activity Application Manual will reflect the changes found in this release.
