Application Management System

The Application Management System is the online system for the submission of oil and gas applications in British Columbia.  Go to AMS >

AMS Payment

AMS Payment is the portal used to electronically pay for applications submitted through AMS using pre-authorized debit.  Go to AMS Payment >

Kermit

KERMIT manages pipelines and facilities throughout their regulatory lifecycle, from application, to operational compliance, to decommissioning.  Go to KERMIT >

eSubmission

eSubmission is the online portal for permit holders to submit a variety of operational data directly to the Commission in order to meet regulatory and conditional data submission requirements.  Go to eSubmission >

Petrinex

eLibrary

The eLibrary is a digital archive of oil and gas activity data primarily focused on well data and reports.  Go to eLibrary >

Water Information

Water Information page which includes: links to the NorthEast Water Tool, NorthWest Water Tool, Water Portal, Water Act Authorizations, Water Reports, Water Approval Data and other information.  Go to Water Info >

Geospatial Services

Commission Geographic Information Systems (GIS) provides access to over 35 datasets which can be downloaded in shapefile format. The permitting datasets are updated nightly and all other datasets are updated as required.  Go to GIS >

Area-Based Analysis

Area-based Analysis allows the Commission to assess the impact of proposed oil and gas activities on ecological, cultural and social values in the context of all other development activities.  Go to ABA >

EIMS

Environmental Information Management System (EIMS) is an online information portal housing detailed oil and gas planning and operational measures for a selection of wildlife species and each Wildlife Habitat Area (WHA) and Ungulate Winter Range (UWR) in northeast B.C. Go to EIMS >

System Status

In order to implement important system updates, there will be an outage impacting some Commission systems from 12:15pm – 1:00pm PST today.  This will impact the following external systems;

  • eSubmission
  • Data Download Reports
  • KERMIT Reports

The BC Oil and Gas Commission is constantly working to improve the quality of the data that we provide to the public. As such, there will be changes to several Data Downloads files (found at https://reports.bcogc.ca/plogc/Ext_Accnt.Logon). Please be advised that the following files will be affected:
